 Supported Living: Team Leader (1 post) and Assistant Team Leader (2 posts)                                                                                                                                 

Due to the expansion of our Supported Living Team at Tiphereth the exciting opportunity to join us in the roles of Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader have arisen.

We are seeking confident and passionate individuals to join our innovative and creative team.

Alongside the other Supported Living Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders you will manage and support the day to day running of the supported living homes within the Camphill Community at Tiphereth. Together our Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders lead their co-worker teams to support members in maintaining their tenancies, building relationships and having meaningful and happy lives. You will plan a full range of social and cultural experiences both within and outside of the members’ homes to enhance their lives and wellbeing.

Both the Team Leaders and Assistant Team Leaders work together to ensure that there is an excellent standard of support and care for the members living in our community and maintain regulatory standards within their team. The specific Job Descriptions for each role further expand on this.

Staff development is key to the innovative environment we create for members in our community and we will support you to grow in confidence in your role to develop a creative team of co-workers who will promote members holistic well-being enabling them to live their fullest life.

The hours of work are variable depending on the individual needs of our members. These involve evening and weekend work. Sleepovers in our shared homes may be required and are paid in addition at the Scottish Living Wage. This is currently £9.30 per hour.

You will be required to join the PVG scheme and register with the SSSC on commencing employment. Ideally candidates will have previous work experience in a similar setting and hold a professional qualification.

Assistant Team Leader job description

Team Leader Salary £24,842 rising with time served annual increments (5 years) and contributary pension scheme

Assistant Team Leader Salary £22,082 rising with time served annual increments (5 years) and contributary pension scheme

36 days paid holiday per year rising with time served annual increments to 40 days

Full time – 37.5hrs per week on a 4-week rolling rota
