We are currently recruiting a range of Full time and Part time posts for our new and exciting Supported Living Service.
Your main role will be to offer practical, emotional and social support to people in their own homes to assist them to maintain their tenancy as independently as possible. You will need to develop warm and effective relationships with service users supporting them to cope with their lives in a positive and planned way so that they can make informed choices, develop new skills, grow greater self-confidence and maximise their independence. Our tenants will be supported to be active fully active members of both the Tiphereth community and wider Edinburgh community.
You will have knowledge of multi-agency working, housing support/care at home systems and knowledge of diversity of service user groups which you will use to establish and maintain respectful and empowering relationships with service users so that they feel valued and supported and in control of their own lives.
You will be expected to work a shift pattern of early and late shifts in order to meet the needs of our members. Full time hours will be approximately 37.5 hours a week (150hrs over a four week period). Part time Pro Rata.

- Willingness to work towards and achieve an appropriate qualification recognised by SSSC
- Ability to build equal and positive relationships with people
- Demonstrate an understanding of working with people to include them and tackle exclusion
- Flexible, practical and reliable approach
You are required to register with SSSC within 6 months of starting in the post.

Salary: £18,086.25 – £19,110
Hours: 37.5 hours a week (150hrs over a four week period)
Status: Full time / Part time
Holidays: 36 days rising to 40 days
Pension: Up to 9%
