What personal data we collect and why we collect it
- When you subscribe to our mailing list, we ask you for your First name, Last name, Email, Organisation and your connection to Camphill. You can choose (opt-in) to receive Our Newsletter, Alerts and/or our E-bulletin
- When you complete an online form we ask you for your First name, Last name and Email. This allows us to respond to you personally
- When you subscribe to the Members Area, we ask you for your First name, Last name, Email, and your connection to Camphill. This allows us to address communications to you in a personal manner and to check your Membership
Third Party Sharing
- When you complete an enquiry form or when you subscribe to the Members Area an email with your details is sent to our Email Management System
- We allow Google Analytics to collect anonymised data from our website so that we can understand how our website is used, and make improvements to it
- Donations via our website are managed by RedCloud (read their Privacy notice) and PayPal (read their Privacy notice), who will ask you to provide personal information needed to complete the donation. We will share some of this data with HMRC if you complete a Gift Aid declaration
- We use MailChimp as our marketing automation platform. By signing up to our mailing list, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms
- Our website is hosted by graphics.coop who process data on our behalf. Read how they manage data that they collect from our website
How long we keep your information for
- We may keep your data for reference or for statistical analysis for up to 14 months after your subscription to our mailing list or Members Area application has lapsed
- We are obliged by law to keep financial data from donors for a period of 7 years
Cookies
- A “cookie” is a piece of software that attaches to the hard drive of your computer and remembers information about the configuration of your computer. We may use this information to track your movements through our website, to find out how it is being used and to assess its usefulness. Personal information about you is not collected during the tracking process
- You can disable the cookies that we attach if your browser supports this. However, you should bear in mind that if you exercise this option, you may be unable to access certain parts of our site
Your rights over your information
- By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate
- You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information for a period of time if you believe we are not doing so lawfully
