The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. It aims primarily to give control back to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU. It applies to all organisations that hold personal data.
Planning for implementation
Camphill Scotland arranged two members meetings to help communities plan for implementation on May 25th 2018; this including a meeting with a specialist lawyer.
We have now written a series of template policies and documents for communities to apply to their own contexts.
