Today Scottish Government has announced that employers will pay the Scottish Living Wage for staff sleepovers, to take place during 2018/19. Like CCPS, we applaud the intention behind this decision but wish urgent assurances that this measure can be implemented without adverse impact on the sector’s highly valued workforce, or placing at risk the critical support arrangements of the vulnerable people they serve.
