What is Camphill, Newton Dee, to me?
It is a tapestry.
It is a healing environment which weaves us together.
– A tapestry of relationships –
to create a strong connection.
This process of creating that strong connection isn’t easy. It’s tiring to share your life with the whole community, to hold everything together and to be aware of others and yourself in response to your surroundings.
But it is worth it to experience this way of living, Camphill life! As it says in Candle on the Hill:
[We] review one’s sense of humanity, [to] modify one’s sense of self, [to] enhance one’s sense of other, of another’s potential, another’s gift.
Healing – we all receive it in the community and together we can go on that journey of inner development.
