Camphill talks to media about Brexit & volunteering

During the final week of the UK’s membership of the EU, residents from Loch Arthur and from Corbenic Camphill communities were expressing their concerns on TV news channels. The UK has yet to confirm the new citizenship model post Brexit, and the future of the proposed Scottish Government’s visa scheme, which would ensure that overseas volunteers can continue to come and experience life in Camphill, remains uncertain.

Camphill continues to welcome volunteers
Despite uncertainties over the UK’s new immigration model, Camphill in Scotland continues to welcome volunteers, from home and from overseas. Brexit will have no effect on European volunteering in the UK in 2020, with any new immigration system coming into place in 2021 at the earliest.
