Camphill cares for planet as well as people

Type: News
Topic: Ecology and sustainability
Community: Tiphereth
Published on: 17th September 2019
We are pleased that Camphill’s contribution to caring for the environment as well as for people has been recognised and included in a recent article in The Ecologist by Dan McKanan.  The article states that
inspiration, hope and progress can be found in Camphill communities around the world.

We agree that

Members grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually through environmental work, developing new skills and experiencing the pride and joy of contributing meaningfully to the places they call home.

Camphill communities in Scotland are undertaking many ecological and environmental activities to protect the environment, and to build and develop sustainable and environmentally friendly communities.  We will be publishing a briefing paper soon on this issue.  Contact us if you would like to receive a copy.
