Call to suspend Universal Credit

Type: News
Topic: Disability rights | Policy and legislation
Published on: 31st August 2017

Camphill Scotland has today joined Citizens Advice Scotland and other organisations in calling on the UK Government to halt the roll out of Universal Credit until the problems which many claimants have experienced can be fixed. These have included the significant delays in the time between people’s initial claim and receiving payment, which has left thousands struggling to make ends meet.

Joint Letter to the UK Government.
