Shona Robison MSP, the Scottish Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, visited Tiphereth to celebrate Volunteers’ Week last week. The visit provided the Cabinet Secretary with an opportunity to meet Tiphereth’s staff, volunteers and members of the community, and to hear about the significant contribution made by volunteers to the work of Tiphereth.
Shona Robison MSP, the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport said:
Visiting Tiphereth is a really good example of how a local project can give people the chance to get involved with their community – with many of the volunteers coming from outside the UK. Here they are able to learn new skills and meet new people that will add to their experience in Scotland, while making a real difference to the lives of those they are supporting.
