Legal Literacy: Building a Relationship with Law and Regulation - a day workshop
Thursday, 04 March 2010, 11:00 - 16:30 Hits : 497

This workshop is introductory in nature and its intention is to explore:

What is law?  From whence does it come?  Is this particular Regulation that faces me really 'Law'?  Am I in 'Right Relationship' with it [Law or the Regulation]?

The morning will be a brief introduction to the History of Law Making, particularly in the English Legal Tradition.  It will include the concept of 'Equity' and of how we may influence the development of 'Law' and 'Regulation' in our field field of vocation.  The afternoon will take a practical example of a 'regulation' and apply the concepts and perceptions explored during the morning.

The workshop is facilitated by Frances Zammit and organised by ACESTA.  Non-members welcome.
