Support in Camphill

Shared living and day care

Cycle -supportCamphill communities in Scotland support people with learning disabilities and other support needs from the early years through to older age.

All Camphill communities focus on the needs of individuals, and how people can be supported and encouraged to develop through community life.

MarrowsIn communities everyone has a role to play, and through contributing to community life you can also gain new skills and experiences.  There are opportunities to try your hand at gardening, baking, cheese making, working on the land, or working creatively to produce crafts.  There are many opportunities to express yourself creatively through music, performing in plays or painting, as well as chances to go to concerts, the cinema, or just into town.

Photo -supportCommunity life also gives many opportunities for you to make new friends, and there will always be someone there to support you if you need it.  You can live in the community, or just come in to work with us during the day, depending on what you want and need.

You can find out more about support in the Camphill communities in our Life in Camphill booklet.
